Monday: Surface Water: Watersheds introduction. Color code the Watersheds in the United States. You may use this image from the presentation we used in class. Earlier finishers should read this article and choose a response in forming a persuasive argument using the directions at the bottom of the reading. Minimum two paragraphs please-thank you!
Tuesday: Visit North Carolina River Basins educational website. Research the watershed in North Carolina you have been assigned and answer the questions. Early finishers will use this packet to look up these scavenger hunt questions about all watersheds in general. Wednesday: Notes and graphic organizer using the textbook; (Section 4: pages 65-73) and (Section 5 74-79).

Monday: You and a partner will to research do from just one of these three resources: 1. Peoples of the Mountains 2. Peoples of the Piedmont 3. Peoples of the Coastal Plain. Create an illustration based on your reading section you're assigned.
Tuesday: Complete your illustration/paper slide and we will review what each student learned about their section of research. We will then shift to early explorers to America and contact with Native Americans by first taking notes here.
Wednesday: Start research project on Early American Explorer
